Having a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment is now a legal requirement, and someone within your organization will be responsible for the quality and validity of that assessment. From the 1st October 2006 all employers became legally responsible for the standards, of all aspects, of fire safety within their business.
Our Fire Risk Assessor Martin Wall worked for South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service for 30 Years has both Operational and Fire Safety Officer. Martin Attended the Fire Service College and obtained all the necassary qualifications in Fire Safety. Over the last 10 years Martin has undertaken Fire Risk Assessments in various premises to ensure life safety. Recently Martin acquired 3rd party accreditation via the Warrington Certification FRACS (individual) Scheme for Life Safety.
